Marriage Encounter
The Worldwide Marriage Encounter Weekend is for married couples who love each other and just want more for their marriage. It is not for engaged couples nor for couples who are experiencing major problems in their marriage. For troubled marriages, there is another program called
"Retrouvaille". You may "click" on this link to obtain more information on this special program.
The Marriage Encounter Program is presented by three Catholic Married Couples and a Catholic priest. The "Weekend" focuses primarily on couple communication; therefore, although it is Catholic in nature, it is open to, and can enrich couples of all faiths. The Weekend begins at 7:30 PM on Friday evening and ends on Sunday afternoon.
Couples are asked to share intimately with their spouse in the privacy of their own rooms after having heard a presentation in a general conference room.
