Catholicism
201: Where did people get the idea that religious education is only
for children?
Are you looking for a Lenten activity to deepen your
knowledge of Catholicism and commitment to the Catholic faith? Catholicism
201 is a course developed by Fr. James Mallon, Pastor of a
Catholic parish in Nova Scotia
, and produced by the John Paul II Media Institute. The program is
suitable for adults and teens.
The
first session started February 14, with a pot luck dinner at 5:30 pm in the
church hall, followed by a video and discussion. Sessions will
continue on Sunday evenings through Palm Sunday. The course includes
a retreat focusing on the Eucharist and the Mass on Feb 28 starting at 2
pm. All are welcome. You do not need to attend every
session to participate.
