Catholicism
201: Where did people get the idea that religious education is only
for children?
Are you looking to jumpstart your Lenten activity to deepen your
knowledge of Catholicism and commitment to the Catholic faith? Catholicism
201 is a course developed by Fr. James Mallon, Pastor of a
Catholic parish in Nova Scotia, and produced by the John Paul II Media Institute. The program is
suitable for adults and teens.
The
first session will begin Jan 23, 2011 with a pot luck dinner at 5:30 pm in the
church hall, followed by a video and discussion. Sessions will
continue on Sunday evenings with breaks for the Superbowl and February
school vacation. All are welcome. You do not need to attend every
session to participate.
For
more information or to pre-order the optional course guide, please contact: Chuck or V.J. Anastasia at
401 245-1661 or email ChuckAnastasia@Yahoo.com
so we can gather an approximate headcount and answer any questions.
