2024 CONFIRMATIONS

          Saturday, April 27:      10:00 a.m.  Mass

"...The reception of the sacrament of Confirmation is necessary for the completion of baptismal grace. For "by the sacrament of Confirmation, [the baptized] are more perfectly bound to the Church and are enriched with a special strength of the Holy Spirit. Hence they are, as true witnesses of Christ, more strictly obliged to spread and defend the faith by word and deed." (CCC 1285)

RCIA

Each year on Holy Saturday during the Easter Vigil,  thousands are baptized into the Catholic Church in the United States. Parishes welcome these new Catholics through the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA).  The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults generally begins in September and welcomes any adult interested in joining the Catholic Church, as well as, baptized Catholic adults who have not received the Sacraments of Holy Communion or Confirmation. Please call the St. Luke's Rectory and talk to a Priest if you are interested.
