Religious Education has adapted our program to meet health and safety needs while maintaining the integrity of our mission to bring the children and teens to an understanding and practice of the faith.
Our distance model follows the traditional 24 lesson cycle. The students are completing their lessons at home with the guidance of a parent/guardian. Every Friday, religious education sends a grade level, multi-page outline to each parent for the coming week. There is a combination of print lessons along with an electronic platform for enrichment. Every family is encouraged to stream or attend Mass every Sunday. We are not zooming or live-streaming classes.
For the sacramental years of grades 2 & 10, we will occasionally gather through the year. We pray for the children and teens as they prepare for the sacraments of First Communion and Confirmation.
